                   4 Easy Tips For Losing Belly Fat



If there is one thing on the minds of most people when they start a weight loss mission it is this question: how can I lose belly fat? Many elements of our lifestyle  - including stress and our tendency to be sedentary - leads to an accumulation of fat around the middle. It is incredibly common and within your power to change.

Follow these 4 tips to start making that change:


  1. Focus on body fat:  Forget your belly for a second. Have a look instead at  your overall fat. If you manage to make your overall fat levels decrease, your belly fat decrease right along with it. It is important to remember one thing: unless you plan to have expensive surgery, there is no way to spot reduce your belly!
  2. Stop doing ab exercises:   People like to think that doing crunches all the time will reduce your belly fat, but it won't. Actually, doing these crunches won't do much for your stomach and it will increase your risk of a lower back injury.
  3. Weight loss or fat loss?   Weight loss is a temporary thing. It changes like the weather. Over the course of the day, your weight can fluctuate by several pounds. If you drink too much water, for example, your weight can go up a pound or two. Although it seems counter-intuitive, your body fat percentage can go down while your weight goes up. Muscle weighs more that fat so while you are getting trim by building lean muscle, you won't necessarily see that reflected in the scale.
  4. What you eat is what you become:  You cannot and will not ever be able to out-do what you eat. If you are eating nothing but garbage food, your efforts will pretty much wasted. Eating poorly is simply not worth the health risks. If you load up with lean protein, whole grains, healthy fats and fruits and vegetables, you will not only feel better, you will actually see results.
