Wardrobe Spring Cleaning

7 Steps to help you change the way you dress up

Well, the cold weather does not motivate us to go out so therefore this is the perfect chance for us girls to sort out our wardrobe, so as to have the perfect wardrobe and to welcome spring and summer as well with style.

1) Spring Cleaning: You should ask your self each piece of clothes you see each time: '' How many times did I wear this within the last two seasons?'' If the answer is from 0 to 1, then now is the time to get rid of it.

2)Then, try the clothes that you are not sure if they still fit you or not. In this way you will see which pieces should be donated, and which one you can fix to fit perfectly on you, by simply taking them to the dressmaker [ I personally do it all the time.. Each season I sort out my wardrobe, clothes that I do not need I will give them to my mum or my sister (they are waiting each season's cleaning to collect something) and those ones that I want to wear but never have the chance since they were too small too long I will visit the dressmaker]

3)Think about your personal style; How you would like to be: more feminine? Then, you should place your lovely dresses in a spot that is more visible to take to you. Do you want to conquer the office look? Your suit jackets should be definitely included in your wardrobe.

4) Divide your wardrobe in two categories: Morning outfits and evenings ones. In this way it should be easier for you to get ready faster, either going to work or going out. ( I personally prefer dressing professionally for work and in the night I will wear my ripped jeans combined with a T-Shirt, since at work it is not allowed to dress up casual).

5) After you divide your clothes in categories, then you can sort them in colours. Another way to combine them more easy, piece of cake to have one colour outfit, but also to play with different colours and have as a result a mix and match outfit/look.

6) Clothes are done by now; So you will continue with your shoes and accessories, sorting them of course according the occasion that you will wear them. Do not forget them! They are the key items that can make your outfit look total different; chic or rock (it depends what you wear), trendy, stylist and cool.

7) Finally, do a list with the pieces that you are missing. So as the next time you go for shopping, to actually shop things that you really need and don't spend money buying the same over again. Alongside, you will manage to ''build'' your style by covering up those ''gaps'' in your wardrobe.
